# HAIR BY KARA ### BOOKING POLICIES & CLIENT AGREEMENT Please review all policies carefully before scheduling. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. APPOINTMENTS & DEPOSITS All appointments are reserved exclusively for you. A nonrefundable deposit may be required to secure your booking and will be applied toward your scheduled service. CANCELLATION POLICY — 50% Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the total booked service price. This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, except where prohibited by law. NO-SHOW POLICY — 100% Clients who fail to attend their scheduled appointment without providing notice will be charged 100% of the total booked service price. Failure to arrive within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment without prior communication may be considered a no-show. No-show clients may be required to prepay future appointments or may be declined future bookings. REFUNDS & SERVICE SATISFACTION All completed salon services are final sale and nonrefundable, except where required by law. Hair color results vary based on hair history, condition, porosity, previous chemical services, and other factors beyond the stylist's control. Inspiration photos are references, not guarantees of identical results. Clients must communicate concerns within 48 hours of their appointment. Requests will be reviewed individually. Complimentary adjustments are not guaranteed and are offered solely when appropriate following an assessment. A change of mind regarding the desired result does not constitute an error in service. COLOR CORRECTIONS & CHEMICAL SERVICES Color corrections and major transformations are unpredictable and may require multiple sessions. Clients acknowledge that: - Desired results may not be achievable in one appointment. - Additional services may result in additional charges. - Previously colored or compromised hair may respond unpredictably. - Hair integrity will always take priority over achieving a specific shade. - Results cannot be guaranteed. HAIR EXTENSIONS A minimum $200 deposit is required for extension appointments involving custom hair orders. All extension hair is individually selected, ordered, and color-matched. Once hair has been ordered, deposits and hair purchases are nonrefundable except where required by law. Extension installation fees are separate unless otherwise specified. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT & RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE I reserve the right to refuse, discontinue, or cancel any appointment if I determine that the requested service cannot be performed safely, professionally, or in accordance with realistic expectations. Disrespectful, aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the appointment and may result in refusal of future services. Any refunds or charges following a stylist-initiated cancellation will be determined according to the services provided, circumstances, and applicable law. PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION By booking, you authorize the payment method provided to be charged applicable cancellation or no-show fees in accordance with these disclosed policies and your payment authorization. POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT By confirming your appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these policies.
